part 2 of crafting day

Hello again. 

Yes, like I said yesterday, my little one was not the only person crafting. While she was doing schoolwork, she didn't need me for most of it. I did my own crafting, keeping busy 😁

So, the first thing I did was get my crafting laptop out and fire up the Craft Artist2. I used my fuzzy moon collection and made 3 Easter cards. I made sure that they fit a 5 x 7-inch card base.

 

 

My last card was more fun to make. I used digital stencils and punches to make this card. I have not decided who is getting which cards yet, but it will be family members, and I'm sure they will appreciate it.

There is 1 more I made yesterday. While Bonnie was doing her colouring, I decided to do one too. I used my brush makers and then added this to a 5x7 inch. I waited overnight for the colours to blend together.

I hope whoever reads this is well. I also hope that you enjoy what my little one and I did this weekend. I'm treating her to a Costa. For the hard work she did yesterday, she deserves a baby, Chino.

Crafting Day

It's been a long and busy day here in the Oliver household. 

Bonnie and I just finished our crafting weekend. We made so many crafts, all related to Spring and Easter. 

So, on Monday at Bonnie's school, there will be an egg decorating competition where she needs to present a decorated egg. She made 2 and called them Mr and Mrs Dumpty 😁

She had so much fun making them and putting the stickers on the eggs. We bought polystyrene eggs, and the stickers and cups came from an old pack of egg cup sets from Wilkinson.

After lunch, we did the next school project. Decorate a bonnet for the spring parade. She had a choice of two colours, and she picked yellow. My only involvement was adding the hot glue to where she wanted the items stuck. She will grow up to be a very good supervisor one day. 1 cm out of her plan, she was right on my case to fix it. LOL. 

Oh, but we didn't stop there. She wanted to make her grandparents an Easter card, so I used her Easter activity book and found a picture she could colour in. But it was too big to make a card. 

I scanned the pictures she liked, used my Craft Artist to size and scale them down, and printed them out. She was getting tired after a hard session of colouring (with help from mummy and Daddy). I then stuck them onto a 5 x 7 base card for her to write inside. 

I also made some cards and colouring, but I will put that on a different page. Have a lovely day. 

Chinese New year 2024

 My Little one wanted to celebrate Chinese New year as she learnt a lot at school. 

So I made this card and gave it to her. She really liked it as there was a lot of Red. Her favourite colour. 

She also said the dragon was cool. I used My Craft studio to make the design and then cut out the shield to put in the middle 

she also made a card at school and she gave it to me. great mins think a like right.

Happy Mothers Day

 Morning everyone 

Happy Mothers Days to the mums of the worlds and mums to be. 

This morning I was presented with a few presents and was surprised to a dinner out and 2 cards 

1 made from Bonnie at school and another is her favourite animal Unicorns.

I have used my craft studio and left the outlines for the flowers so I can colour them in.
